Corbett National Park is one of the oldest and most renowned national parks in India. Located in the foothills of the Himalayas in the state of Uttarakhand, it is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including the endangered Bengal Tiger. Established in 1936, Corbett National Park is the first national park of India and is named after the renowned hunter-conservationist Jim Corbett. It covers an area of 520 square kilometers and is home to more than 50 species of mammals, 580 species of birds, and 25 species of reptiles. The park is divided into five distinct zones, each with its own unique landscape and wildlife. The most popular zone is the Dhikala zone, which is known for its lush grasslands and dense forests. The other zones are Dhikala, Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhela, and Garjiya. Corbett National Park is also home to a variety of endangered species, including the Bengal Tiger, Asiatic Elephant, Leopard, Sloth Bear, and Indian Python.
